As the fashion and beauty editor of a leading London magazine the key part of my job was to style and art direct beautiful photographs. Over this same ten year period I became very interested in photography and had my work published regularly.

When I became a mum it seemed natural that I combine my skills and indulge myself in taking photographs of my children to document their progress. The results inspired the many commissions which led me to create sueallmanpeople.

Since coming to New Zealand in 1998 I have used our home on the hill as a studio for my informal portraits. I feel very fortunate to do a job that I love.

I live in Eastbourne, Wellington with my partner Andy and our three boys Jacob, Finley and Theo.
